First Kids is the kid's ministry of Bakersfield First Assembly in Bakersfield, CA, which includes all ages from birth to 5th grade. Kids ministry is an exciting and vital ministry in the church. It is a launching pad for training the next generation. We seek to create a safe place where kids develop relationships and have fun while diving deeper into their faith in Jesus. Our heart is to take a whole family approach as we partner with and equip parents to raise their children to believe in Jesus Christ. We aim to foster spiritual maturity, discover and utilize the child’s God-given gifts for his glory, pursue a Christ-centered life, engage in worship, study, and prayer, and have a clear vision for Godly manhood and womanhood.
