SENIORS' TRIP TO THE APPLE FESTIVAL
Join Us for the Tehachapi Parade! Come enjoy the parade with us on Saturday, October 10, at 10:00 AM! We’ll carpool, with Shirley Logrecco coordinating drivers. Bring money for lunch. Most cars will head home around 1:00 PM, but you can arrange to stay longer with your driver.
WATER BAPTISM | OCTOBER 11TH
Bakersfield First will be having water baptisms on Sunday, October 11th right here in the Sanctuary. If you’re ready to take the next step in your faith, we would love for you to be there. Pastor Nathan will be teaching a baptism class on October 4th at 9:00 am in the church conference room. To sign up for baptisms, fill out a Connection Card in the pew in front of you!
MANOR 50TH ANNIVERSARY | OCTOBER 11TH
Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Manor 1 and unveil its newly renovated clubhouse! Bring your family and friends for an open house, light refreshments, live music, a special message and prayer, and a showcase of the clubhouse. We’d love to celebrate Manor 1’s history and this new chapter with you. This will be at 12:00 PM, immediately following the church service.
CHURCH WORKDAY | OCTOBER 24TH
We’ll begin with a light breakfast at 7:30 am and start working at 8:00. The primary task will be spreading mulch, so be sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty! We’ll also be doing smaller jobs throughout the campus. We have something for all ages and skill levels! Sign up for the workday by filling out a Connection Card or tapping the QR codeon the counter in the lobby today!
LADIES HOLIDAY TEA TABLE HOSTESSES
Plans are now underway for the Holiday Tea, and we would love for you to host a table for one of Bakersfield First’s biggest events of the year! The Ladies Holiday Tea is Saturday, Nov. 7th and cost is $20 per person (more info to follow in the coming weeks). If you’re interested in hosting a table, please email veronica.meadors@gmail.com!

- Candy Palooza is just around the corner, and we’re collecting candy for Candy Stations. The bins will be available in the church lobby for the next few weeks. Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness as we prepare for this year’s exciting event on Sunday, October 25th!
